As the Entrepreneur in Residence of The Kalori Group, Carlos brings a wealth of business experience both at the corporate and small to medium business level. With his background in both finance, and general management, and knack for team building and packaging solutions for customers, Carlos combines those crucial skills for generating early revenues and finding tracking in newly formed markets.

Between 2002 and 2006, Carlos launched a full service telecommunications provider, T3 Communications. Carlos and his team raised equity, built a can do attitude team, run a fast growing profitable business and sold the business at five times the invested capital in three and a half years.

Carlos has degrees in Finance and Economics, and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and International Business. Mr Perez has more than thirteen years' telecommunication experience in Australia and overseas, and including finance roles within Optus Communications and National Telecoms Group. Carlos has considerable international experience, with involvement in eight telecommunication start up operations in eight different countries.

Prior to his telecommunications experience, Carlos worked in the banking industry in the USA and Spain, having roles as financial analyst, commercial banking services and international banking services.

Carlos brings to the team the ability to create strategic and innovative thinking, converting that thinking to an operational plan resulting in efficient execution. This is done in the context of integrity, team work and financial performance. Carlos creates win-win situations where all stakeholders work in harmony to achieve the set goals.
